CONGRATULATONS LAKERS!!! The 2008 NBA Western Conference Champions

Lakers dethrone the defending Champs the San Antonio Spurs last night beating them in a 4-1 series to become this year's Western Conference Champions. Congratulations Lakers. Now lets bring that NBA Championship trophy back to Los Angeles. The NBA Finals start Thursday, June 5.

Ladytron @ Henry Fonda Theatre (Music Box) Tonight

After two years and four failed attempts, I finally get to see Ladytron LIVE for the first time. Even though this will be my first time seeing them perform LIVE, I was fortunate enough to have a one on one conversation with all four members (Helen, Mira, Daniel, and Ruben) when they did a DJ set at the Purple Lounge in the Standard Hotel (WeHo) back in either Fall 2006 or Winter 2007, but I can't remember the exact date. Anyways, I have the utmost respect for this band. They were so easy to walk up and talk to. They were very humble, sincere, and polite. Well, tonight is Ladytron last night in L.A. as they tour the U.S.A. to promote their new album VELOCIFERO (wonder what that means or if it has any meaning). For more info on Ladytron click HERE.

Memorial Day Weekend 2008

I don't know about you guys, but this Memorial Day Weekend was definitely one for the record books. I didn't go out of town like most people. Instead, I hung out in L.A. with my friends and had a great time partying, dancing, and going to shows. What makes this holiday little bit more special than the previous ones (besides Mai and Alli...hehe) is the fact that Memorial Day where I had a hardcore panic attack which I have never experienced before and I thought I was going to die...lol! Yes, die! Trust me Erin and Michelle was there and they experienced the same thing. Wow, that was a bad idea guys...lol! None the less, the weekend was awesome. Check out the slide and the videos below...cheers!

Sushi + Speed Racer = Crazy Delicious

Well, the sushi was more delicious than the movie. Honestly, Speed Racer was too corny of a film to take seriously. I understand what the Wakowski Brothers were trying to achieve with bringing an anime cartoon to life, but it was executed very poorly. The only thing that kept my interests in the film were the races, but everything in between was corny and down right annoying especially when it came to the Speed Racer's little brother in the film. That actor/character received way too much screen time and was the worst thing about the film. Other than that the film is pure eye candy from beginning, middle, and end. I recommend watching this film on drugs. No, seriously you do no want to watch this movie sober. Furthermore, enjoy the pics of Vanessa and I having sushi...haha.

No Country For Old Men Scene Dubbed w/ Different Voice

I found this funny. This is like the best scene from the movie because it's so heart-pounding, but the voice-over makes it comedy.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Opens Today

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian opens today. If you're fan of C.L. Lewis' classic books, then I highly recommend seeing this film. As for a sequel, this film is definitely better than the first movie. This film is darker in tone and has more action than The Lion, The Witch, and the Waredrobe. For more info on the film click HERE. And below is a bonus video - Lazy Sunday (in honor of the Chronicles of Narnia...haha).

Now, if you're a Star Wars nerd like me, you will find this pretty fuckin' amazing. The R2-D2 Projector is an all-in-one entertainment center. It's not to scale in size to the R2-D2 in the movies, but it's stil pretty sweet. Check it out.

Suge Knight Got "Knocked the Fuck Out" Over the Weekend...haha!

Pics courtesy of The Notorious B.L.O.G.

Excerpt courtesy of The Notorious B.L.O.G.

This happened on Saturday, but I don't blog on the weekends so you're reading it now. Sue me for being late. But the most feared man in the rap game got laid out like a recliner on Saturday night in front of the Shag nightclub in Los Angeles. He was knocked out unconscious for roughly 3 minutes after a brawl. There are mad conflicting reports about what had happened, but is went down a little something like this...

1. Suge yelled "Where's My Money!"
2. Suge and entourage beat down somebody over said money.
3. After the melee, Suge got knocked upside the head.
4. Suge hit pavement.

Whoever did this needs to go into hiding right now, because you know Suge doesn't won't take something like this laying down (pun intended). TMZ.com has more photos of his concrete nap (of course they do).

Video interpretation of what happened...haha

Michelle's B-Day Celebration @ the Greek Theatre (Openning Night) 5.9.08
