He's an event I highly recommend checking out as a alternative to the Neighborhood Festival. The Swerve Festival is a film, music, and art fesitval happening this weekend mostly in the Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and Echo Park areas of Los Angeles. From what I understand this event is basically FREE. As part of the Swerve Festival, Check Yo' Ponytail is having a FREE event as well at the Echo and the Echo Plex featuring those crazy kids from Brazil Bonde do Role, with other performances by LA Riots and Toxic Avenger.
